Yard and Garden

Verna delights in yard work and her efforts have paid off. It is not only a lovely place to see and enjoy, but also provides food for our table and enough to share.

Much of the back yard has been left natural. We planted azalea bushes and many narcissus bulbs among the oak trees.


What appears to be a small Christmas tree is actually ivy growing around a wire tomato plant support.


The red flowers below are mostly poppies - just in time for Memorial Day!














Yes, we have edelweiss flowers from Austria.


We planted pink dogwood, red maple, hawthorne, plum and pear trees.
